Anderson RapidConnect field-installable connectors
The RapidConnect field-installable connectors for field installations help save time by reducing the need for termination equipment or messy epoxy and accelerator.
Installing a connector out in the field is time consuming - polishing end faces and waiting for the epoxy to set. These connectors, however, are pre-polished and ready to click onto fibre, and it takes approximately 1 min to install a connector out in the field.
The connectors allow the user to quickly and easily terminate OS1 singlemode, OM1 multimode and OM3 multimode fibre, with 250 µm, 900 µm buffer or even 2 and 3 mm jacketed cable with either an SC, SCA or LC connector.
