Visionsteam secures $90m NBN contract extension
Visionstream Australia has secured a two-year contract extension estimated at $90 million to its NBN Co contract for new developments in Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.
The new developments work includes the design, construction and commissioning of pit, pipe and fibre-optic cables within new estates across the three states including the temporary transit fibre network.
The company has delivered the new development programs for NBN Co for the past two years and will continue the program for another two years with an option of two one-year extensions.
“Collectively we are improving delivery and performance and look forward to setting the standard for fibre deployment in new developments, enabling NBN Co to meet Australia’s need for high-speed broadband connections,” said Visionstream General Manager for the NBN project Allan Bradford.
