Advantech PCIE-1816 and PCIE-1816H data acquisition cards
Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group has introduced the PCIE-1816 and PCIE-1816H data acquisition (DAQ) cards for the PCI Express (PCIe) bus. The speed and flexibility of PCIe facilitates increased data transfer rates with higher resolutions using cost-effective hardware.
The PCIE-1816, supporting 1 MS/s, and the PCIE-1816H, supporting 5 MS/s, offer higher analog input rates with 16-bit resolution and corresponding smoother waveform analog outputs.
Features include: 16 single-ended or eight differential analog inputs, two analog outputs, 24 digitals configurable as inputs or outputs, two counter/timers, onboard and external clocking, onboard FIFO, and the free DAQNavi configuration and utilities software.
When it is necessary to add a waveform generator to a test stand used for analysing analog inputs, the PCIE-1816 and PCIE-1816H meet the need with two analog output channels with 16-bit resolution configurable to generate waveforms using the DAQNavi software.
The PCIE-1816 and 1816H are the two newest cards in Advantech’s PCIe family. They now join the PCIE-1810 (800 kS/s, 12-bit, 16-channel), PCIE- 1751 (48-channel digital I/O and 3-channel counter), PCIE-1753 (96-channel digital I/O), PCIE-1752 (64-channel isolated digital output), PCIE-1754 (64-channel isolated digital input), PCIE-1756 (64-channel digital I/O), PCIE-1730 (32-channel TTL and 32-channel isolated digital I/O), and PCIE-1760 (eight-channel relay and eight-channel isolated digital input).
