Yingli Solar creates new technical manager role
Christian Bindel has been appointed to the newly created role of technical manager for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands for Yingli Solar.
In the position, Bindel will be responsible for managing all aspects of Yingli Solar’s technical product support, warranty, product maintenance and engineering standards in the Oceania region. This region has seen strong growth, leading to the creation of the Technical Manager role.

Hiring Christian is further evidence of Yingli Solar’s continued investment in the region.”
Bindel was previously the managing director of Phoenix Solar, moving from Germany to take on the role in Australia. He has also held prominent roles with local companies such as Origin Energy, First Solar and Mark Group.
