Monday, 31 July, 2017

Warren & Brown Technologies, a global telecommunication network and connectivity infrastructure solutions provider, has signed a distribution agreement with US-based QPC Fiber Optic Solutions to supply QPC’s harsh environment and multifibre connectivity solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.

WBT has expanded its capabilities in Australia to provide custom-manufactured multifibre assemblies, as well as repair and replacement services, from its manufacturing facilities in Melbourne. This will provide fast turnaround times and quality products for its customers.

The new range of fibre-optic solutions, which includes expanded beam fibre-optic connectors and cable assemblies, are predominantly used in harsh environment applications, including mining, oil and gas, and defence.

Expanded beam fibre-optic connectors are also one of the most common types of connectivity used for broadcast applications. In addition, for broadcast applications, the Q-Seal is a Neutrik-compatible 2- and 4-channel connector system, which can be also serviced from the Melbourne facility.
