Solar Design and Installation Awards now open
Solar installers are being invited to showcase their skills by entering The Clean Energy Council’s Solar Design and Installation Awards.
The competition, which opened this week, covers five categories from grid-connected systems less than 15 kW of capacity through to larger systems over 100 kW, as well as those with battery back-up and stand-alone systems.
Clean Energy Council Chief Executive Kane Thornton said the solar awards consistently attracted entries from the best of the best and the winners each year inspired others across the solar industry.
“The solar industry is a passionate one that constantly strives for excellence, and these awards recognise those installers whose innovation and unique approach to challenges puts them above and beyond their competitors — whether they are working on a smaller household system or a large-scale commercial installation with all of the relevant bells and whistles,” Thornton said.
The Solar Design and Installation Awards will be presented at the ATRAA dinner in Melbourne on Thursday, 8 October 2015, which will be held as part of the All-Energy Exhibition & Conference for the first time.
More information on the award categories and entry requirements can be found on the Clean Energy Council’s Solar Accreditation website.
Entries for the awards close on Tuesday 1 September and are open to all Clean Energy Council-accredited installers.
