Schneider Electric has been recognised at the 2017 IF Design Awards ceremony in Munich, receiving recognition for the Easergy T300, Resi9 DB60 and Avatar On products.

Easergy T300 and Resi9 DB60 solutions were both competing under the ‘Industry/Skilled Trades’ category. Avatar On was recognised under the ‘Building Technology/Switches’ category.

Easergy T300 is a flexible, compact control and monitoring solution for electrical distribution systems. It uses the latest communication and feeder automation technologies and is a cornerstone of the Ecostruxure Grid IoT-enabled architecture supporting the digital transformation of grid operators.

DB60 is a residual current circuit breaker from the Resi9 domestic electrical protection range. It is an intermediary device between the AC supply delivered by the energy supplier and the domestic switchboard. This solution complies with the most recent applicable standards.

Avatar On was designed, developed and produced exclusively for the Chinese market. This new range of switches integrates easily into every interior style thanks to its great variety of covers including plastic, wood, metal, marble, leather and a DIY customisable and printable cover.

Frédéric Beuvry, SVP Industrial Design & Ergonomics at Schneider Electric, said: “We are proud to have three of our most advanced solutions awarded today by IF Design. Design is the result of many different teams’ work and these recognitions represent a crowning point for our design and engineering teams who continuously and jointly strive for excellence.”
