Schneider Electric acquires Energy Conservation Systems
Schneider Electric has announced that it has signed a business sale agreement to acquire Energy Conservation Systems Pty Ltd (ECS).
ECS’s revenues come from the sale and distribution of Broad Absorption chillers and Ex-Or lighting controls, as well as energy-efficient projects and EPC solutions. Schneider Electric Buildings Business will continue operations in both of these areas and will look to leverage its product offerings to enhance and support the business.
“The addition of the ECS team allows us to strengthen our focus in Energy Performance Contracting and Energy & Sustainability for our customers,” said Jay Nardone, Schneider Electric Vice President for Buildings Business in Australia and New Zealand.
He added the ECS team has successfully delivered a high level of service to their customers while saving energy and positively impacting the environment by reducing carbon emissions.
