Philips wins four Australian International Design Awards
Royal Philips has been recognised for four of its products at the 2013 Australian International Design Awards, presented by Good Design Australia.
The Antumbra lighting user interface panel from Philips Dynalite received one Design Award, while other Philips products - the SimplyGo oxygen system, the TrueBlue apnoea mask and the PerfectCare Aqua iron - were also awarded.
“We are proud that our design-driven innovations can contribute to improving people’s lives while simultaneously receiving industry recognition. We are particularly pleased to see the design quality of the two home healthcare products being acknowledged in this way,” said Sean Carney, Chief Design Officer of Philips.
“Our continued success in the Australian International Design Awards is testament to our commitment to furthering good design,” said Alan McCarthy, Managing Director, Philips Australia New Zealand.
The 2013 Australian International Design Awards were announced on 30 May 2013 as part of the Australian International Design Festival.
