NSW electricians take out top gongs at industry awards
NSW’s top electricians have been recognised for their achievements at a prestigious electrical industry awards night.
Master Electricians Australia awarded entrants from all over the state across six diverse categories.
NSW State Manager Jody McGann said the entrants for 2015 were of incredible calibre.
“The excellence awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise outstanding quality, attention to detail and high standards of professionalism within the industry, and we are thrilled with the high-calibre entries we have received in so many different categories,” McGann said.
“Congratulations to all our entrants, finalists and award winners who have shown so much passion for the electrical industry and are leading the charge for future generations.”

- Apprentice of the Year: Jonathan Carroll, Origin Energy
- Women in Contracting: Jenny McIntosh, McIntosh Electrical, Lane Cove West
- Accredited Master Electrician of the Year: Brent McIntosh, McIntosh Electrical, Lane Cove West
- Residential Project of the Year: GB Electrical Contractors, Mayfield West
- Commercial Project of the Year: Alland Group, Alexandria
- Energy & Efficiency Project of the Year: Platinum Electrician Norwest, Acacia Gardens
The NSW winners will go up against winners from the other states in the Master Electricians Australia National Excellence Awards, to be judged in Brisbane on 21 November.
