New NECA Executive Director for NSW and ACT
The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) has appointed Oliver Judd as the Executive Director of NECA’s NSW and ACT chapters.
Judd takes over the top executive role in NSW and ACT for the association after managing NECA’s Industrial Relations and Commercial departments and helping to build up NECA Legal. Judd has been working for industrial associations like NECA for the past eight years, three of which were with the Master Builders Association.
NECA President Stephen Griffiths said, “Under the leadership of Oliver, NECA will be taking advantage of some very exciting new opportunities for growth and development.
“He has a wealth of knowledge of the electrical contracting industry and many great ideas that will help NECA remain connected with current members and help to break into other untapped areas of our industry.
“As NECA moves forward into this exciting new chapter, we would also like to confer our special thanks and appreciation to Barry Dawson, who has been the association’s Acting Chief Executive Officer for NSW and ACT and, as is typical of Barry, during this period he has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the association, its members and stakeholders.
“Barry resumes his role as General Manager of NECA Group Training and will remain an integral member of the NECA team.”
