New business development manager for CAPS Australia

CAPS Australia has appointed a new business development manager - power generation for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania: Steve Turton.

With close to 20 years of experience in the power generation industry, Turton will be using his broad experience in a variety of mission-critical applications to help customers maximise the use of their power generation equipment.

Turton has previously secured contracts for a variety of industries worldwide, including data centres, hospitals, banks, airports, glasshouse crops, naval and commercial shipping, as well as the exclusive mega-yacht market.

He has been appointed as part of the company’s focus on enhancing its strong industry reputation and ensuring power generation specialists are available to assist individual customers at the local level throughout Australia.

“I’m pleased to welcome Steve to our power generation team at CAPS,” said Ares Siu, product and project sales manager, power generation. “He is an accomplished industry professional with a very strong technical expertise that will benefit our customers.”

Having worked extensively in the United Kingdom, the CAPS role is Turton’s first in Australia. “I have worked with some incredible people and organisations over the past 20 years, and I’m very excited to begin this new chapter in my life as I help to develop our market across the country,” said Turton.
