NECA WA, SA and Qld Excellence and Apprentice Awards

Electrical and communications contractors and apprentices from WA, SA and Qld were recently recognised at the annual Excellence and Apprentice Awards hosted in each state by the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

The 2015 NECA WA and Clipsal by Schneider Electric Excellence and Apprentice Awards saw a record number of project nominations and a sell-out attendance with more than 500 attendees at the awards night on 21 August at Crown Perth.

The South Australian finalists were presented in front of a crowd of more than 300 industry representatives at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 28 August, while the cream of Queensland’s electrical and communications industry were awarded at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel last Friday 4 September.

The executive director of NECA South Australia, Larry Moore, said the winning companies and apprentices were chosen because of their commitment to excellence and significant engineering achievements.
