Hills appoints WA group manager
Hills has appointed Chris Arter as group manager for Western Australia.
Arter will be instrumental in driving the growth and performance of sales and operations in the Building Technologies business. Improving customer service and support will be a major priority for Arter as Hills continues implementing major operational changes to deliver the best brands, service and support in the industry.
“Hills is in the process of integrating its building technology business under one structure, and we need to share with our customers our vision and company approach,” Arter said.
Arter has an extensive and proven track record in IT sales management. He brings over 26 years’ experience in the IT industry, spanning distribution, business partners and vendors. Since moving to Australia from the UK in 2005, he has held senior sales management positions in Hitachi Data Systems, Avnet and Telstra as state manager.
Arter is passionate about his volunteer work as a local bush fire fighter, which keeps him very active over the summer months.
