GSES releases publication for renewable energy industry
Global Sustainable Energy Solutions (GSES) has announced the release of the 2015 version of the industry handbook ‘Grid-Connected PV Systems: Design and Installation Edition 8’.
Designed for electricians, solar installers and students within the renewable energy disciplines, this resource provides comprehensive knowledge and guidance for the successful design and installation of grid-connected PV systems.
This version has been updated to include the current revised industry best practices, system design and product criteria.
“Australia has seen unprecedented growth in the scale and use of grid-connected solar PV systems in the past 5 years,” said GSES Director Susan Neill.
“This has meant for the industry to keep up, it has had to adapt, refine and develop necessary changes to products and practices within a very short time frame.”
The eighth edition addresses the needs of the ever-changing landscape of the renewable industry, including updated diagrams and Australian Standards references, as well as topics such as understanding photovoltaics, connecting to the grid, site assessment, system installation, economics of a grid-PV system, and commercial- and utility-scale PV systems.
Grid-Connected PV Systems: Design and Installation Edition 8 is available at the GSES online shop and is also included as part of enrolment into the GCPV: Design and Install course.
