Graybar expands footprint
Graybar, the Fortune 500, US-headquartered distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has announced the opening of a new branch in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the addition of a customer counter and on-site inventory to its existing location in Hudson Valley, New York.
The Williamsport branch is the fourth new location Graybar has opened in 2013. The full-service branch, led by Branch Manager Mike Schaefer, supports industrial, commercial and construction customers in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Sullivan, Bradford, Tioga and Union counties and the Marcellus Shale region.
These additions continue Graybar’s strategy of broadening its reach to bring products and services even closer to its customers. In 2012, Graybar opened branches in Charleston, South Carolina, Lincoln, Nebraska, Lafayette, Indiana, and Joplin, Missouri. This year, Graybar has opened locations in Dickinson, North Dakota, Carrizo Springs, Texas, and Rockford, Illinois. Graybar plans to announce additional branch expansions and openings in the coming months.
Graybar, one of the largest employee-owned companies in North America, stocks and sells products from thousands of manufacturers, helping its customers power, network and secure their facilities with speed, intelligence and efficiency through its network of more than 240 distribution facilities.
