FWBC publishes operational performance data

Friday, 05 April, 2013

To demonstrate a commitment to transparency and openness, Fair Work Building & Construction (FWBC) will publish its Dashboard report online, following a two-month internal trial.

Available on the Accountability and Reporting page of FWBC’s website, the Dashboard report will provide data on the agency’s operational performance against its key performance indicators and targets.

“This information helps to track how we are progressing against our Statement of Strategic Intent goals,” said FWBC Chief Executive Leigh Johns. “It will now be readily available to the public, building industry participants and the media so they can see exactly how the agency is tracking.”

Information covered by the Dashboard report includes the percentage of investigations finalised within 90 days, the average age of matters filed in court and the percentage of enquiries responded to within one working day.

“FWBC is committed to open and transparent operations,” Johns said. “Making the Dashboard report available to citizens is an important part of this and is in line with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s principles on open public sector information.”
