Fluke Corporation names new president
Fluke Industrial President Wes Pringle has been named as the new President of Fluke Corporation and will now be responsible for all Fluke global businesses, including Fluke Calibration, Fluke Biomedical and Fluke Automation. Pringle succeeds Barbara Hulit, who had been president since 2005.
Pringle joined Fluke in 2012 from Whirlpool Corporation, where he was the senior vice president of integrated business units and was responsible for several consumer and commercial businesses. Prior to his tenure with Whirlpool, he spent more than 10 years with major-brand corporations Warner Lambert, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.
Fluke has also expanded the responsibilities of Fluke Corporation President, Asia Pacific (APAC), Jimmy Hwong. In addition to multiple office and manufacturing locations in China, Hwong will be responsible for Fluke subsidiaries in India, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taipei and Australia as well as robust distributor relationships throughout SE Asia.
“Jimmy Hwong is one of the strongest and most experienced leaders in the Fluke organisation,” said Pringle. “His understanding of the Fluke customer is second to none. Jimmy is the perfect addition to what is already a very strong team across the Asia Pacific and will keep our momentum strong.”
