Wednesday, 16 April, 2014

FLIR Systems has signed a distribution agreement with Australian security and technology provider Q Security Surveillance.

Q Security Surveillance, part of the Q Technology Group, will represent the full range of FLIR security cameras and systems. QSS is focused on design, development and sale of advanced technology systems, subsystems, components and software for security-related applications worldwide and reselling of high-end security products including detection, alarm and surveillance systems.

The business is headquartered in Port Melbourne with offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. According to FLIR, thermal security cameras make images from the heat energy that is around us all the time, not from reflected visible light, giving 24/7 imaging capability without lights or illuminators.
