Finepoint’s Circuit Breaker Test & Maintenance Training Conference
Finepoint’s 19th Annual Circuit Breaker Test & Maintenance Training Conference will be held over 1-5 October in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The training conference includes a day at the Alstom Grid manufacturing facility in Charleroi, five days of intense substation/switchgear maintenance training, a half-day ‘Circuit breaker lube by number’ seminar, a half-day ‘Air disconnect switch maintenance’ seminar, demonstrations of advanced monitoring and testing tools and the industry’s Top 100 manufacturer and supplier exhibits each evening at the Hospitality Expo.
The conference is suitable for those responsible for operating, maintaining or managing substation or switchgear assets. Participants will include substation electricians, supervisors, superintendents and asset managers from investor-owned, municipal, rural electric cooperative and government-owned electric systems.
Many training sessions focus on medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers. However, related substation and switchgear topics such as power transformer maintenance, oil testing and filtration, SF6 gas handling, safe work practices and asset management issues are also covered.
