Fifth lites.asia meeting
The fifth lites.asia meeting will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 28 and 29 June 2012.
The workshop is designed for policy-makers to exchange information and plan actions to develop local, regional and international lighting energy efficiency and quality standards and policy. The workshop is supported by the Australian Government.
It will focus on three areas:
- Compliance: Product registration, labelling and enforcement, including regional test capacity and data sharing to improve compliance.
- Communicating with the consumer: Including consumer guidance, labelling and product equivalence to enable better product selection by consumers.
- Standards and labelling: Progress towards tropical performance parameters for LED standard, updates on recent IEC actions and other relevant updates on previous lites.asia activities.
