Energy Safe introduces lineworker licensing

As of 1 January 2021, the licensing of lineworkers and a continuing professional development (CPD) requirement for licensed electrical workers will be introduced by Energy Safe Victoria.

As part of the development of these new programs, ESV has published two documents for consultation — the proposed Regulations and a Regulatory Impact Statement.

General changes and continual professional development:

  • Tuesday, 8 September, 2:00 pm, and
  • Wednesday 16 September, 2:00 pm

General changes and registration of lineworkers:

  • Thursday 10 September, 10:00 am, and
  • Thursday 24 September, 11:00 am.
