Eaton to exhibit ePDUs and solutions for virtualised data centres at CeBIT
Eaton Corporation will exhibit its new set of enclosure power distribution units and showcase a range of solutions for virtualised data centres and IT infrastructure at CeBIT 2012.
Eaton’s software offerings, that will be on show, include its Intelligent Power Software Suite - incorporating the Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) and Intelligent Power Protector (IPP). The company says the Intelligent Power Suite provides users with the tools they need to monitor and manage power devices on their network, even in a virtualised environment.
Eaton’s recently launched set of enclosure power distribution units (ePDUs) will also be showcased. The ePDUs are designed for the data centre environment to provide maximum availability, optimising the available power in a data centre and fitting with industry-standard IT racks.
The new set consists of enhanced Managed ePDUs and a range of switched and advanced monitored ePDUs which allow users to track and monitor power.
In addition, Eaton will exhibit the Eaton Ellipse ECO UPS solution, which provides compact power protection for various business-related electronic equipment such as PCs, workstations, telephony equipment and point of sale terminals. The Ellipse ECO features off-line topology and protects office applications against the most common power interruptions, such as power failure, sags and surges.
Eaton will be at CeBIT stand T10. CeBIT runs from 22-24 May at Sydney’s Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre.
