Cybersecurity expert panel at ACI Connect conference
Australia’s new automation, control and instrumentation conference, ACI Connect, will feature a panel discussion aimed at debunking the myths surrounding cybersecurity and its potential impact on the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
“Cybersecurity - fact or fiction?” will be chaired by What’s New in Process Technology editor and security expert Glenn Johnson. Glenn will be joined by cybersecurity guru Dr Chris Beggs and Adam Rickards from Daanet.
The event is being held at Melbourne Olympic Park on 9-10 April and the latest conference program is now available at http://aciconnect.com.au/pages/conference-program. Keynotes on Industry 4.0, the skills shortage and future manufacturing opportunities, a panel discussion on ethernet in industry and workshops on machine safety and instrumentation will also be drawcards to the event. Engineers, plant and factory management, EPCs, OEMs, system integrators and operations and technical professionals will gather at ACI Connect for two solid days of education, training and networking.
Industries represented at the event will include food processing and packaging, mining, oil and gas, utilities, transport and manufacturing.
Early bird registration is now open for the event, with one day passes starting at just $299 for bookings made prior to 14 March. For more information and to register, click here.
