Cummins appointed CCO at JH Market
Electrical accessories supplier JH Market has announced the appointment of ex-Clipsal CEO Damien Cummins as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) effective 7 December 2020.
Cummins is a well-known executive within the electrical industry, with over nine years at Clipsal, where he held the role of General Manager, Asia Pacific before becoming CEO in his last four years. After leaving Clipsal, he became Executive GM of Gerard Lighting (GLG). More recently, he held GM roles with Vaynco and Bardic Emergency Lighting.
“I’m delighted to welcome Damien to the Executive Leadership Team,” said James Wang, Executive Chairman of JH Market. “His extensive experience, knowledge and connections within the industry, together with his strong alignment to the business model and vision, will help us accelerate our growth story.”
“I’m thrilled to join the JH Market team,” Cummins said. “I strongly believe in the direction of the business and its direct-to-customer approach and see a lot of potential in use of digital channels to disrupt the traditional brick and mortar wholesale model.”
Damien’s role will include accelerating growth by expanding the product and service offerings of the business, as well as introducing complementary new sales channels.
