Clipsal gears up
More than 800 electrical contractors gathered during the March weekend of the 2013 Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, to attend the Clipsal by Schneider Electric’s ‘Gear up for the Future’ business session.
Newly appointed Vice President of the Clipsal and Schneider Partner Business, David Gardner, used the occasion to make key announcements to customers and media, including a commercial marketing alliance with Beacon Lighting and the establishment of new Customer Care Centres in Adelaide and Sydney.
Guest speaker at the event was Australian Paralympian Matt Cowdrey, who inspired the crowd by covering his commitment to swimming and his history-making success at the 2012 London Games.
Following the formalities, the session opened up to unveil the latest and greatest product innovations and solutions. Centrepiece of the display was a temporary assembly line module demonstrating how Clipsal branded products continue to be manufactured in Australia, as well as product exhibitions and displays including the iSelect iPad app and the Schneider Electric EV charging station.
