The Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES) is calling for papers for its 50th annual conference at the Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn Campus on 6 and 7 December 2012. The golden jubilee event will showcase solar research and spotlight solar projects that are delivering cost effective, emission-free electricity.
The conference will cover a range of topics, including:
- Solar photovoltaics: including system design and performance monitoring
- Solar thermal: CSP as well as SWH and SAH, extending into the production of low-grade process heat for industry
- Built environment and sustainable design
- Energy efficiency
- Public policy
- Grid integration and remote power systems
- Other renewables, including wind, biomass, geothermal, tidal and waste methane recovery
One-page abstracts should be submitted by 30 June 2012. AuSES is seeking papers that “contribute to knowledge relating to the uses and applications of clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency, the built environment and sustainability”.
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and should be no longer than 300 words, plus title, keywords, author(s) details and citations.
