APS partners with Baumer
Baumer and APS have embarked upon a national distribution agreement, which commenced 1 July 2021.
Baumer Group was founded in 1952 and has headquarters in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. It has a global presence in 39 subsidiaries and 19 countries.
“As a leading manufacturer of sensing instruments, the Baumer and APS partnership will enhance local customer experience,” said Michael Ti, Managing Director of Baumer Singapore (South-East Asia and Oceania).
“Baumer are a world leader in sensors for automation and process and APS are proud to add them to our portfolio which will round out our offering to local industry,” said David Read, Director of Products at APS Industrial.
Featured Baumer products that APS will now have access to include:
- Encoders
- Smart vision system and identification object detection and distance measurement (proximity, photoelectric and ultrasonic)
- Process sensors
- Mechanical process instruments (Bourdon-Baumer)
The APS portfolio already includes brands such Siemens, Weidmüller, Belden, Rittal and Katko.
