AIRAH's Solar Workshop 2015 set for 23 April
AIRAH will be holding the Solar Heating and Cooling Workshop 2015 at the University of Wollongong on Thursday, 23 April.
Back with a revised format and some special extras, the workshop program builds on last year’s successful inaugural event. The program will help attendees boost their CPD with five hours’ worth of technical content; meet the people behind new innovations, research and market developments; discuss their own ideas with peers during extended meal breaks throughout the day; gain new knowledge and insights from presenters sharing their real-world experience.
The program is split into three focus areas over the course of the day: desiccant evaporative cooling, residential systems and case studies.
The day includes a practical component, with a site tour of the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre led by Professor Paul Cooper, M.AIRAH. The tour will show delegates the unique research and demonstration facilities on hand, such as test rigs for development and testing of photovoltaic thermal systems and phase-change materials, the Team UOW Solar Decathlon house, and advanced HVAC and control systems.
