ABB completes acquisition of Bob White Electrix and LE Jarvis
Power and automation technology group ABB has completed the acquisition of two Australian-based motor and generator repair and service businesses: Bob White Electrix and LE Jarvis. Bob White Electrix specialises in coil manufacturing and large motor and generator repairs, including machines of up to 230 tons. LE Jarvis specialises in rewind, repair, maintenance and overhaul of industrial motors and generators.
The acquisitions expand ABB’s motor and generator maintenance and repair capabilities and on-site service offerings for customers across Australia. It also reinforces ABB’s increased focus on service and complements its motor sales portfolio.
