2019 Solar Design and Installation Awards are open
Nominations are open for the Clean Energy Council's (CEC) 2019 Solar Design and Installation Awards, which recognise excellence in the design and installation of Australian solar projects.
The awards, which will be presented on 23 October at All-Energy Australia 2019, cover five categories:
- Under 30 kW — standalone PV power system
- Under 30 kW — grid connect PV power system
- Under 30 kW — grid connect PV power system with battery backup
- 30–240 kW — any system eligible
- Over 240 kW — any system eligible
Last year's winners include Matthew Leeson, for a building-integrated solar tile system on a home display centre; and Geoff Fussell and Guy Cameron, who worked on a 99 kW floating solar farm on an overflow dam at the East Lismore Sewage Treatment Plant.
