The SDM range of temperature and process controllers, from Sanup Electrical Company, features universal inputs and outputs (except the 48 mm2 model).
Typical applications include incubators, environmental chambers, high-temperature laboratory furnaces, timber drying kilns, plastic extruders, industrial kilns and furnaces, packaging equipment and product drying.
The inputs include a wide range of thermocouples, RTDs and linear DC signals, while the outputs are available in relay contact, logic (for driving solid-state relays) and 4-20 mA formats. A range of DIN panel sizes is offered, from 48 to 96 mm2.
Alarm contacts are standard, as are transmitter power supplies in all models except the 48 mm2 unit.
All controllers can be configured as two-program, 12-step program controllers, or the programs can be linked to provide one 24-step program. They can also be configured as fixed setpoint controllers, while manual percentage output operation is possible on the 72 mm2, 48x96 mm and 96 mm2 units.
An optional RS485/MODBUS interface enables the controllers to be connected to most SCADA systems.
