The Dunkermotoren BG75 servomotors provide intelligent drives for drive solutions including industrial automation, with outputs of up to 500 W and 5 Nm.
The range is available with a variety of integrated functions, such as regulation electronics in the SI version, which provides speed control and permits defined acceleration and braking operations; the PI model that provides software to set motor parameters for positioning, speed and torque; the CI variant which features a DSP402-compliant CANopen interface, enabling modification of the significant parameters for a trajectory; and the MI version that incorporates a freely programmable motion controller that can independently execute master-slave functions in a drive network.
These integrated control and power systems are claimed to reduce the amount of wiring and cost of installation, as well as taking over control and regulation functions, relieving a higher level PLC of the task of handling computation-intensive control algorithms.
To achieve high torques and low speeds of rotation, there is a wide range of planetary and worm gears that fit the brushless DC servomotors.
