High-efficiency gearmotors

The W37 and W47 right-angle gear units are the latest additions to the 7 Series range of modular geared motor solutions and feature gear ratios as low as 3.2 to provide high output speeds and drive-train efficiencies.

The W37 and W47 ranges deliver torques of 70-110 Nm and 100-180 Nm respectively, making them suitable for a wide range of conveying applications.

Designed for energy efficiency, the gearmotors incorporate a two-stage gearing arrangement — the first with a helical gear arrangement and the second with a ’Spiroplan‘ gearing configuration.

The right-angle configuration of the gearmotors enables them to be mounted directly on a conveyor to increase throughput and maximise production rates.

The gearmotors feature ’hollow shaft mount‘ housing with a compact, self-draining aseptic design, free from crevices and contaminant trap-points, making them suitable for hygienic clean area manufacturing applications. They can also be incorporated into MoviMot decentralised drive systems, which provide flexibility, scalability and connectivity to support a variety of applications.
