The BL67 ethernet gateway is designed for Profinet network systems typically used in long conveyor systems.
The system consists of a gateway and base and electronic modules, all of which are IP67 rated for field installations.
I/O modules are configured independently of the fieldbus protocol and up to 32 I/O modules may be connected to a gateway, delivering up to 512 digital I/O points or 128 analog channels on a single system.
The system uses I/Oassistant software to perform the initial configuration, parameter set-up, documentation, commissioning and diagnostic functions for on/offline usage, verifying that all power and size restrictions are met.
The system is also compatible with the Turck ‘BL ident’ RFID system, performing read/write operations using 13.56 MHz technology with speeds up to 10 m/s.
