ABB NaveoPro emergency lighting application
ABB has launched a wireless solution enabling customers to install, monitor and maintain their entire emergency lighting installation using a fast and intuitive mobile application. Designed for commercial and industrial buildings such as hospitals and universities, the fully automated system provides real-time status in all monitored buildings via a digital floorplan display, to enhance building safety and assist with maintenance planning.
NaveoPro runs system diagnostics 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The system automatically alerts maintenance engineers to emergency lighting failures and informs them which parts are faulty and may need to be replaced, reducing intervention time for required maintenance. The mobile user interface combines a building floorplan with a map and list views of all the luminaires for fault pinpointing and positioning functionality. This can be emailed and shared with multiple users and stored as a permanent record of the health of the system.
The product’s cloud-connected, wireless-enabled functionality manages up to 200 emergency LEDs per gateway automatically and remotely. This reduces maintenance and installation costs, along with the carbon footprint associated with commuting between sites, manufacturing new wiring and transportation in support of installation work.
Part of the ABB Ability digital platform, the NaveoPro Wireless solution offers enhanced cybersecurity through a secure gateway that is connected to the cloud. Easily scalable, it integrates with a wide range of emergency lighting luminaires.
