Harting wins Business Innovator award
Harting China has received a Business Innovator award in Shanghai, recognising outstanding contribution in product and technology innovation. The award was presented to Simon Chan, Managing Director of Harting China, at the dinner after the 11th Annual Selection of Automation Ceremony on 22 January 2013 in Shanghai. The event was attended by senior management of key players in the automation industry.
Online automation media company Gong Kong organises the Annual Selection of Automation each year. The jury voted for Innovative Products, Business Innovators and Excellent Project Model. Chief engineers and experts from various industries including petrochemical, textile, rubber, machinery, electric power, solar energy and others formed the jury. The following aspects were scored: technological creativity, practical function, market response, market performance, industry focus and industrial application.
The 320+ products were shortlisted to 13 for the final voting after group scoring and discussion.
Chan was interviewed by Gong Kong and expressed his thanks. He declared during the interview that Harting will continue to develop innovative products, invent new technology and contribute to the industry.
