WS60 cable actuated position sensor
The cable actuated position sensor WS60 operates in 15, 30 and 60 m measurement ranges. Designed for use with elevators, the durable sensor provides an accuracy of up to 0.025%.
The sensor features an accurate shift mechanism with an acme thread spindle that precisely winds the measurement cable, and an axial magnetic bearing shifts the cable drum without any contact or axial friction.
A robust flat coil spring keeps the measurement cable taut. The spring is a single-stage, non-cascaded arrangement with static running and a long lifetime.
The sensor is quiet, quick and easy to mount with minimal visible installation, suitable for glass elevators.
Digital interfaces are standard, including incremental outputs (HTL, TTL) or absolute outputs with synchronous serial interface (SSI). Other output types, such as bus systems, are available on request.
