Western Telematic PTS-9CM20-2 automatic power transfer switch

The PTS-9CM20-2 automatic power transfer or redundant power switch from Western Telematic is claimed to provide a reliable method of automatically switching equipment to a backup power source. By constantly monitoring a primary power source, redundant power switches can decide when to switch to a secondary redundant source to ensure that critical network devices are always up and running.

This power transfer switch features continuous source monitoring of two 20 A inputs with one 15 A and eight 10 A outputs, robust out-of-phase switching with a maximum switch time of 16 ms at 60 Hz and LED indication of the active power source.

The switch can provide redundant power to any AC powered device that does not include a secondary power inlet. It is constructed in a 1U rackmount case, making it suitable for data centre and server farm installation.
