Small bore conduits

The Ramflex Micro Conduit is designed to meet the needs of industries that require small bore conduits to protect electric cable and optical fibre applications such as robotics, clean rooms, IT networks and control systems as well as in harsh or vandal-prone environments.

Produced from a continuous, helically wound stainless steel strip, these flexible conduits possess inherent low fire hazard properties and are suitable for use in electrical cable encapsulation for sensors, thermocouples, photo cells and proximity switches in process industries.

The conduits are available in a ‘squarelok’ style as standard, in sizes ranging from 3.5 to 12.7 mm ID, where the stainless steel strip is held in position by locking one leg of one profile over the leg of the adjacent profile. It is also available under special order in an ‘interlok’ range, where the edges of the stainless steel strips are completely interlocked with each other, suitable for applications requiring increased crush protection and where higher axial strength is required.

The conduits are also available in an overbraided range for use in abrasive environments.
