Power Products CR-SB chemical resistant connectors

The Anderson Power Products CR-SB (chemical resistant) SB range of high-current, quick-disconnect power connectors was developed for industrial applications that require robust connector solutions resistant to environmental factors that commonly degrade standard products, leading to eventual failure.

The housing material offers improved resistance to hydrocarbons and solvents as well as an extended temperature range, while retaining the same benefits of industry-standard housings, including colour- (red or grey) and mechanical-coding, hot-plug capability and genderless design.

The connectors are available from 50-350 A and rated at 600 V AC or DC, with connection under load capability of up to 100 A. They are fully intermateable and interchangeable with the standard SB connectors and accept the same range of contacts.

The housings are keyed to ensure that only connectors of the same colour will mate. In order to distinguish the CR-SB connectors from the standard SB connectors, a ‘P’ is moulded on the back of the housing.
