Power condition assessment

Delta3000 is an automated insulation power factor test set to non-destructively assess the condition of high-voltage electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers and motors, and measuring the excitation current and inductance of transformer windings

The 10 kV test set has software to control the unit and generate test reports, claimed to reduce testing time and virtually eliminate errors.

A Qwerty keyboard complements the colour LCD display that shows the test results (voltage, current, power loss, power factor and capacitance), which can be stored in XML format along with historical test data to export to external software packages.

The portable instrument is designed for on-site use and incorporates an interference suppression system for reliable results, even in the presence of severe electrostatic and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for use in energised switchyards up 765 kV.

Available optionally are 100 and 1000 pF reference capacitors for in-field calibration verification and 10 nF capacitors for high-voltage turns-ratio testing.
