The Rolec aluCASE series of heavy-duty, die-cast enclosures has been expanded with eight additional sizes and two versions with clear polycarbonate lids.
Cases can be selected in dimensions ranging from 75 x 50 x 33 mm to 330 x 200 x 120 mm, with ingress protection rated to IP67 as standard, with optional units available with IP69K rating.
The cases are powder-coated grey RAL7040. Mounting points in top and bottom parts securely fix built-in components. The lid is secured by stainless steel captive screws and has a 1.7 mm recessed area for membrane keypads, front panels or labels. Integrated hinges provide strain relief for wiring between the enclosure’s top and bottom parts.
The enclosure can be installed after closing, thus preventing unnecessary access to the internal electronics. Clip-on design covers in aluminium or plastic conceal the fixing and mounting technique.
