The eSure DC power rectifier is designed to be used to power electronic equipment in the telecommunications industry, delivering a claimed 97% energy efficiency, meaning far less energy is wasted in the conversion from AC to DC power. Less wasted energy results in an equivalent reduction of generated heat, which results in lower cooling requirements and reduced infrastructure costs.
Since telcos typically deploy hundreds of rectifiers across their networks, the potential energy savings and reduction in carbon emissions would significantly lower OPEX despite the initial CAPEX.
The rectifier features an ‘Eco’ mode that, when coupled with NetSure or other third-party rectifiers, can further reduce energy loss and improve efficiency by managing the majority of the conversion process and switching over to other installed rectifiers only when the load increases.
