Cable and pneumatic grommets

The Pipetite cable and pneumatic grommets are designed to seal air-line penetrations through sheet steel, such as in machine sides, solenoid panels and wall plates, while allowing for significant movement of the tube. They are suitable for use with pneumatic tube or electrical wires.

The grommet’s base incorporates a groove suitable for sheet steel up to 3.0 mm thick. Using the same penetration hole-size means neat lines on installation.

An installed grommet allows the tube to move significantly without causing damage or breaking the seal between the sheet and the tube. Silicone is not required during installation.

The IP66/IP68-rated grommets are available to suit four standard diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm pneumatic tube or electrical wires. They are totally self-sealing with no sealant required, rated to 260 °C and compatible with most cleaning solutions.
