Automated Control Engineering PCFP25 series magnetostrictive linear position sensors

Thursday, 01 July, 2010 | Supplied by: Automated Control Pty Ltd

The PCFP25 series slim, non-contact linear position sensors use magnetostrictive technology and complement the Posichron range.

The industrial-grade sensor range is shock and vibration resistant and designed to be low maintenance, making it suitable for deployment in harsh applications and, with a profile of just 8 x 28 mm, it can fit into areas that were previously inaccessible. The sensors can be used for safety critical applications where two units can be mounted together, vertically or horizontally, to provide two totally independent redundant outputs.

The sensors offer a range of absolute analog outputs of 0-10 VDC and 4-20 mA as well as CANbus versions and can be supplied in stroke lengths of 100-5500 mm in increments of 10 mm.
