The AMP NETCONNECT Sigma-Link is a pre-terminated, easy to install copper cabling system. It has been specifically designed and engineered for current and future high-speed data centre applications of up to and including 40 Gb/s.

The far end can be traced by an integrated plastic optical fibre (POF) for easy identification after installation.

The company claims it will increase flexibility, reduce the user's deployment time and the total cost of ownership of the user's data centre.

Key product features: PLUG&GO copper cabling system using Cat7A; Cat7; Cat6A; Cat6; Cat5E; factory pre-terminated and 100% factory-tested system; optional integrated detection/traceability (POF) for ease of identification after installation; patch panels in either flat or angled high-density configuration; cables in standard lengths or customised to minimise unwanted cable; range of termination configurations including cassette-to-cassette; cassette-to-jack; cassette-to-open-end assembly.
