Trilithic and CommsForce announce partnership
CommsForce has announced it has entered into an exclusive partnership agreement with US-based Trilithic covering its product sales, servicing and training provisions for the Australian HFC network expansion.
The partnership enables CommsForce exclusive access to sell and service Trilithic test equipment and to develop HFC specific training modules in Australia.
CommsForce will also be responsible for all of Trilithic’s technical support, installation, warranty, maintenance and aftersales service.
Established in 1986, Trilithic specialises in Emergency Alert Systems (EAS) and XFPT but is best known for its broadband instrument innovations (HFC) — signal level measurement, leakage detection and reverse path maintenance.
Based in the US, the company expanded its operations to South-East Asia in 2001 to meet increasing demand for its products in Asia.
CommsForce said the partnership will help to facilitate growing market opportunities with nbn’s DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 deployments.
“At CommsForce we are very pleased to be the exclusive authorised distributor for Trilithic products and services in Australia,” said Rocco Losurdo, sales director at CommsForce.
“By partnering with Trilithic, CommsForce can now provide a comprehensive range of products and services to satisfy growing market demands and leverage our existing supply contracts with Telstra and nbn co.”
