Stuart Fleming to lead LAPP's Aust Harnessing Division

LAPP Australia has appointed a new General Manager of its Harnessing Solutions Division: electrical engineer Stuart Fleming.

Bringing more than 30 years’ experience across electrical engineering and manufacturing operations, Fleming will lead the strategic development of the Harnessing Division, with a focus on expanding local manufacturing capability, enhancing quality systems, and delivering tailored, scalable solutions to customers.

“Stuart’s experience in building manufacturing operations from the ground up, combined with his hands-on technical expertise, makes him an excellent fit for our business,” said LAPP Australia’s Managing Director, Simon Pullinger.

“His leadership will be valuable as we continue to grow our harnessing capabilities and deliver high-quality, locally manufactured solutions to our customers, backed by local service capability.”

Fleming said that LAPP was well recognised for high-quality products, local stock and customer service.

“I see a strong opportunity to build on that foundation with locally manufactured harnessing solutions that improve installation speed, consistency, testing, traceability and safety for customers,” he said.

Pullinger said that by appointing Fleming, LAPP had demonstrated its commitment to investing in local expertise as part of its growth strategy.

“As industry gets even smarter with automation, project complexity increases. This is where our Harnessing Division is ideally equipped to deliver cable assemblies that save time, and achieve optimal project outcomes,” he said.

Fleming will be based in LAPP’s headquarters in Eastern Creek, NSW, where the company hosts extensive local stock of cables, connectors, and industrial automation product ranges.
