NECA Excellence Award winners announced for Queensland
Queensland electrical and communications companies were recognised by their peers at the recent National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) Queensland Excellence Awards. Five companies received an award in front of a crowd of industry representatives including contractors, educators and government representatives.
Stowe Australia took home three awards, winning the Industrial Project - Large, Voice/Data Project and Commercial - Medium Project categories.
Blue Star Atlantic won the Industrial Project - Small category for its Project Greenacres XXXX Stage 3 Project, while Fredon Qld took out the Workplace Health and Safety Award.
In the commercial categories, Power-Comm Electrical & Communications won the Small Project award and Rutledge Engineering took home the Large Project award.
Guy Houghton, NECA Queensland Executive Director, said the winning companies were chosen for their commitment to excellence, significant engineering achievements and, importantly, finishing complex projects on time.
“The electrical and communications contracting firms that have won an award are simply outstanding for what they have achieved during each project,” Houghton said.
“The judging panel were privileged to view such high-quality projects and, as always, NECA members have played a critical role in some of the largest and most diverse construction jobs in the state.”
